My Praise Got Me Through
All of us have had moments of discouragement brought on by life’s circumstances. When you are in this place, it is never easy to control the thoughts of feeling hopeless and wanting to give up. One thing we must remember is that God is faithful and true to his word. I have had countless personal encounters of being in some of my darkest times, and I was able to experience God’s greatest victory because I understood the power of my praise. Through my praise, God was able to heal my distressed soul. I got the revelation that by keeping a hallelujah in my mouth and my hands lifted, I was drawing him near to me and gaining the strength I needed to push through the adversity I was facing. My praise allowed me to redirect my focus on the heart of God and his will for my life. My Praise allowed me to bask in his presence and remind me of his grace and mercy. It is not easy to praise God during your challenges, but it is possible. Praise is a choice, not a feeling. Choosing to praise God during hardship means your choice to trust him despite of. Praise does not make your circumstances go away immediately, but it does help lighten the burden. It increases your faith and your expectancy of how God is going to turn things around in your life. My praise has gotten me through some of my hardest times. I want to encourage you to forever give him praise no matter what things look like.
