It Won't Be Long Now!!!

When I think about those words I tend to reference the scripture found in Amos 9:13-15 MSGV, where is reads:

“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.

“Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel:

“They’ll rebuild their ruined cities. They’ll plant vineyards and drink good wine. They’ll work their gardens and eat fresh vegetables. And I’ll plant them, plant them on their own land. They’ll never again be uprooted from the land I’ve given them.”

God, your God, says so.

The only blessed assurance that we need in this season is to simply know that God's Word says so! Now let the redeemed of the Lord bare witness and affirm the Word of consolation. I do realize that many times as believers we get in a real hurry for things to get done. We tend to find ourselves seeking immediate resolutions instead of wholeheartedly seeking the final response from our Father. This generation lives for the next! Society has emphasized the fact that if you are not up on the latest trends, connected to the right social media influencers, or living according to "the lifestyle of the rich and famous", then you are completely missing out.

Well I beg to differ, keeping up with others will cause you to get out of alignment. It will cause you to look for external gratification and glorify the idea that, "what others think of me is what matters most!" AND IT DON'T!!! The peace that we desire comes from within. The scripture declared that IT WON'T BE LONG NOW!!!

ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS WAIT FOR OUR TIME!!!
