In This Place of Transition.
Never in a million years would I have thought that I would love to be in this place of transition.
The dictionary defines transition as the process or a period of changing from one state or condition to another. I dreaded the thought of changing and doing something different, because I did not know what was on the other side. In my younger years transition led me to being homeless, abused, rejected, and abandoned. Those traumatic moments taught me to fear and run away from transition. When I ran away from the transition my situation only got worse. It took me building a relationship with God, examining myself, and facing the trauma to understand that transition isn’t something I should fear or run away from, but something I should embrace.
Once I changed my perspective and began to embrace transition, I became the victor and no longer the victim. God began to give me vision, helped me identify my purpose, doors began to open, and divine connections started to be created. I love this place! Although, there may be times when I don’t understand it, and times where it is extremely uncomfortable, but “I lean not on my own understanding, in all my ways I will acknowledge God and I KNOW that he will direct my path.”
You see, God did not create us to be stagnant and stuck! He created us to evolve, grow and to live a life of abundance. To be what and who He created us to be; we must transition. A butterfly transitions through three stages before it becomes what God created it to be.
Embrace the moments of transition that God has created for you!
