High on my Own Supply: Knowing my Own Strength

Ephesians 1:11

Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance. Before we were even born, he gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart.

I am strong and courageous. I will not be frightened, and I will not be distressed, for the LORD my God is with me wherever I go. Knowing my Help: God is always there for me, so I can be strong in knowing that He always has my back, front and both sides. For when I am weak, is when in reality I am my strongest. God’s grace is sufficient for me, for His power is made perfect in my weakness because in my weakness is when I have the strength to reach out and ask my Father for his help.

Strength comes by the renewing of my mind and by being led by the Holy Spirit in order to know and understand God's will and destiny for my life. When I focus on Him, and all that he has done in my life, I begin to move from strength to strength no matter my circumstances. My trust and faith in Jesus and the Word of God is my life support. My dependence on God is what keeps me afloat when circumstances and the issues of life try to drown me. I have come to depend on the power and authority of Jesus for everything. I depend on God to give me the breath of life to see each day, I depend on Him to give me the strength to get up and pray, every morning to say, “ Good morning God, good morning Jesus and good morning Holy Spirit,” the strength to get out of bed and start my day, the strength to hear His voice and to obey.

I depend on Him for protection. I depend on Him for the strength to love. Nothing I do is in my own strength, it's all because of Jesus. Even knowing who I am, it wasn't until I discovered whose I am that I found out who I am! I am nothing without Jesus and it is because of my personal relationship with him I am able to make it through the days. I am blessed and highly favored because of the Christ within me. I am loved and respected because of the Christ that shines through me. I am The King’s daughter and because of God I am Royalty. The Lord is my strength.
